Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative on sustainable palm oil. The principal objective of RSPO is to promote the growth and use of sustainable palm oil through co-operation within the supply chain and open dialogue between its stakeholders.

RSPO certified sustainable palm oil is produced by a palm oil mill and its supply base when it complies with the RSPO Principles and Criteria and this compliance is independently verified by an RSPO approved certification body.

Downstream processors or users of RSPO certified sustainable palm oil can claim the use of (or support of) RSPO certified palm oil when they adhere to the intent and requirements the RSPO Supply Chain Certification Systems and this is independently verified by an RSPO approved and accredited certification body.
